Listening to the Ocean: with artist Taloi Havini

 In November and December of 2020 artist Taloi Havini spent a residency on the R/V Falkor ship in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef as part of the Schmidt Ocean Institute’s Artist-At-Sea program, studying advanced ocean floor sound mapping technology. Aboard the Falkor, multi-beam mapping used sound to create an image and a map of the sea floor.
