With the Help of Schmidt Ocean Institute’s Falkor, Seafloor Maps Reveal Underwater Caves, Slopes and Fault Lines

By 2030, scientists hope to have a much more accurate seafloor map of the world’s oceans. The Schmidt Ocean Institute’s ship Falkor, along with a new type of technology to provide three-dimensional imagery of the caves, make this goal much more of a reality.
